Dayspring Christian Academy is a vibrant independent Christian School
(pre-K through 8). We are seeking a gifted administrator who reports to the school board and who will lead a team of 12 full-time faculty members and approximately 75 students to fully become who God created them to be.

The successful candidate for Principal must meet the following criteria:

1. A college degree in education is preferred.
2. A post-graduate degree in education or administration is desired.
3. Minimum of five years teaching experience, two years as a principal or assistant principal preferred.
4. Possess a thorough understanding of elementary and middle school curriculum.
5. Have a testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
6. Subscribe fully to the Dayspring Christian Academy statement of faith.
7. Be an example to faculty and students in four areas:
   • Membership in a doctrinally conservative, evangelical church.
   • Regular attendance at worship services of the church where you are a member.
   • Supporting your church with your time, talents, tithes, and spiritual gifts.
   • Leading a faithful devotional life.
8. Have experience in education that demonstrates skill in administration.
9. Meet the general qualifications of a minister in 1 Timothy 3.
